How It All Began

Long before Zeeks Cafe became a destination for art-meets-edible creations, its founder, Zakieh, was the girl everyone at school knew for her chocolate truffles. She sold them at bake sales and school events, always selling out fast.

In 2010, she decided to take cake decorating classes at Michaels, and that’s when her hobby turned into a true passion.

On her 25th birthday, her best friend gave her a unique gift: 25 letters, each to be opened only after reaching a major life milestone. One of those letters was labeled “Open when you open your dream bakery.”

Years later, when Zakieh launched Zeeks Cafe, the first thing she hung on the wall was that letter; a daily reminder that people believed in her long before the doors ever opened.
